The Bethsaida International Christian University is a multi-confessional evangelical institution that advocates the integral formation of man, focused on sustainable development and the knowledge of the word as a compass. We believe in the integral mission of the Church and are convinced that evangelical leaders must be agents of development destined to accompany the people of God in the realization and satisfaction of their social, economic, cultural and spiritual needs. We believe in the multidimensionality of the human being, with a body, soul and spirit that work interdependently and must be taken into account as part of a human development policy. We are proud and committed to offering high-quality distance/online learning programs at affordable prices nationally and internationally. 

 

Mission 

          The mission of Bethsaida Christian University is to prepare disciples for the local church around the world through quality training and integral education, based on the Bible and guided by faith.  

 

Vision

The vision of Bethsaida Christian University is to become a reference in the field of higher Christian education and distance education for the benefit of Christian communities in Haiti and abroad.     

 

Goal

          Bethsaida Christian University exists to amplify the local church's mission of replication around the world through biblical training and education that takes into account local and international realities. 

 

Statement of Faith  

          Bethsaida Christian University is committed to working to defend the authenticity of God's word, the unity of the Christian family, the spread of the Great Commission, and the social and multidimensional mission of the church.   The unity of the church rests on the common faith in Jesus Christ, and the obedience of the precepts dictated by the Bible.            At UCHREB, we believe in the Bible as the inspired and inerrant word of God. We believe in one God, existing in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each having the same nature, the same attributes as revealed in the Bible. 
 
          JESUS CHRIST –

 

                        We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.   born eternally of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that Jesus Christ was crucified, died and buried, that he rose from the dead, ascended into heaven and sat at the right hand of the Father from where he will come to judge the living and the dead.   THE HOLY SPIRIT. We believe that the Holy Spirit came in a special sense on the day of Pentecost, indwelling every believer.     ​

 

HUMANITY.

 

          We believe that God created mankind, male and female, in His likeness, with the Apostles of God.

 

HUMANITY.

 

          We believe that God created humanity, male and female, in His likeness, with an irreversible and defined biological sex at birth. The biological sex of each person has been sovereignly designated by God and constitutes an irreversible aspect of his nature.    

  
Salvation

          We believe that sinners are justified by faith, forgiven, reconciled to God, kept by Him, and receive eternal life as a gift of grace.

    

THE CHRISTIAN LIFE.

          We believe that God justifies believers, frees them from the dominion of sin in conversion, and enables them through the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to live a victorious life of righteousness and peace.   

THE CHURCH. We believe in the existence of the universal church led by Jesus Christ and in the local church, which itself constitutes the body of believers gathered under the banner of the Holy Scriptures to pray, receive communion, proclaim the gospel and observe the ordinances.   We believe in the return of Jesus Christ, that he will return to the earth personally and physically to receive his people, judge the world, and establish his sovereign reign of justice and peace on earth. 
We believe in the resurrection of believers and non-believers. ​          

 

          Bethsaida Christian University is a private, non-profit, interdenominational university dedicated to building a sustainable training model that involves the preparation of a new generation of Christian leaders to serve the local church and other faith-based organizations around the world.    As a global academic institution, the university is characterized by a rigorous integrated learning approach that leads to the development of intellectual, spiritual, and professional skills.  

 

          Ministerial career  At Bethsaida International Christian University, our various programs take into account the weaknesses and challenges faced by evangelical ministers around the world. That is why we will always emphasize the practical aspect of the courses offered at the University to help ministers effectively fulfill their ministerial roles within their communities.  Our courses are prepared and/or taught by graduate professors from universities in Haiti and abroad. In addition to their training in theological fields, they are all involved in the social, economic and cultural activities of their respective communities, an indicator of a good leader. 

 

          As for the founder and rector, he has a rich background in many fields such as agronomy, education, theology, business management, the environment and acupuncture and Chinese medicine.   In addition, he has many years of experience in leadership positions in government organizations, , non-governmental and international organizations in Haiti.  The training gained at UCHREB will enable students to serve in a variety of ministry roles such as pastors, Christian school principals and administrators, youth ministers, discipleship directors, educators, organizational administrators, church administrators, evangelists, missionaries, and church staff. ​      

 

          State Authorization / Accreditation / License ​          

 

          In the United States, the authorization to operate an educational institution is issued by the state of which gives it a license to operate. This authorization indicates that the institution in question has met the minimum standards established by the State for the provision of educational programs and diplomas. With respect to its license to operate, UCHREB as a religious institution has received exemption from the Florida State Department of Education's Commission for Independent Education, acting as a green light to issue degrees of a religious nature at various levels [bachelor's, master's, and doctorate] in accordance with the Florida Bylaws/Section 1005.06(1)(f), F.S. and By-Laws 6E-5.001.
 
          The operating license does not constitute accreditation. They are two different independent and complementary at the same time. Unlike the operating license, the permit to operate from the city and edu conte of existence, or the authorization from the department of d; Accreditation, on the other hand, is a lengthy voluntary process that allows non-governmental and institutional accrediting bodies to review and evaluate the academic standards, policies and practices of universities and colleges. According to Harvard University, accreditation serves 4 main purposes: to ensure the quality of education offered to the public, to facilitate the transfer of students between institutions, to provide the institution with access to federal financial aid, and to serve as a guarantee to employers regarding the graduate's qualifications.

UCHREB Accreditation Process ​          

 

                  The UCHREB will begin the long process of seeking accreditation during the first year of its existence, so next year with the DEAC. The Distance Education Accreditation Commission (DEAC), formerly known as the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC), is a private, nonprofit national educational accrediting agency in the United States that specializes in accrediting distance education programs and institutions.
